
Case-Based Dermoscopy: Intermediate

The purpose of this session is to build upon foundational dermoscopy skills and use case-based examples to better distinguish between clinically similar lesions. This is an interactive session requiring audience participation with assessments throughout the presentation to assess comprehension.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Review core dermoscopy knowledge
- Use dermoscopic features to distinguish between common clinical mimickers
- Analyze dermoscopic cases of intermediate complexity
- Discuss different approaches to arrive at the correct diagnosis
- Understand dermoscopic patterns of pigmented lesions on special sites

Ami Greene, MD
Ami Greene, MD is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania where she completed her dermatology residency and Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship. Dr. Greene started the pigmented lesion clinic at Penn State where she utilizes total body photography and dermoscopy to help manage her high risk patients. She enjoys teaching and is the co-director for medical student education and is involved in resident education as well. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her two sons and her husband.
