Cutaneous Lymphomas will provide an overview of the most common cutaneous lymphomas: Mycosis Fungoides, Sezary Syndrome, and Cutaneous B Cell Lymphomas.

At the conclusion of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize classic clinical presentations of Mycosis Fungoides, Sezary Syndrome and B-cell lymphomas;
  • Be able to initiate first line therapies and work-up for diagnosing cutaneous lymphomas, taking into account treatment selection in ambiguous cases;
  • Recognize worrisome patterns of cutaneous lymphomas that portend a worse prognosis and when to refer to tertiary care centers.

Heather Goff, MD, MPH

Heather W. Goff, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center where she directs a specialty clinic in treatment of cutaneous lymphomas as well as serves as the director for cosmetic dermatology education for the residency program.

She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society and also completed an internship in internal medicine and a residency in dermatology.

She holds a Master of Public Health (International Health) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Studio Art) from Texas Tech University.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014 and her professional honors include the Department of Dermatology’s 2015 Outstanding Teacher Award and the American Academy of Dermatology’s Presidential Citation for Basic Dermatology Curriculum in both 2013 and 2017.
