‘Vesiculobullous Disease’ is the 15th module in the SDPA's Diplomate Fellowship. After completing this module, learners can expect to walk away with knowledge and understanding of:
- Bullous Pemphigoid
 - Pemphigus Vulgaris and Pemphigus Foliaceus
 - The structure of the basement membrane zone, function of desmosomes and hemidesmosomes, and cell to cell adhesion as it correlates to blistering disorders
 - Biopsy technique of Direct Immunofluorescence and interpretation of results associated with blistering disorders
 - Procedure and use of salt split skin
 - How to recognize Pemphigus Vegetans and differentiate the 2 types Neuman and Hallopeau, Cicatricial Pemphigoid, Epidermolysis Bullosa Aquisita and Paraneoplastic Pemphigus
 - Dermatitis Herpetiformis
 - Linear IgA disease
 - Epidermolysis Bullosa (including EB simplex, Junctional EB, Dystrophic EB, and Kindler syndrome)
 - Presentation of disorders associated with vesicles and/or bullae
 
This module contains 2 sections in total and will provide 2.0 hours of Category I CME. This module costs $14.00. To complete each section learners will watch a PowerPoint presentation with voiceover, take an exam, and complete an evaluation survey. Each learner will be required to pass the exam with at least 70% and will have two 4 attempts to pass the exam.
