‘Pruritus and Psychocutaneous Disorders’ is the 9th module in the SDPA's Diplomate Fellowship Program. After completing this module, learners can expect to walk away with knowledge and understanding of:

  • The approach to the patient with pruritus
  • Both common and uncommon presentations
  • Development of a differential list
  • How to perform a diagnostic workup
  • How to classify and select the most appropriate treatments
  • How to describe appropriate topics for patient education related to pruritus including setting appropriate expectations 

This module contains 1 section in total. To complete each section learners will watch a PowerPoint presentation with voiceover, take an exam, and complete an evaluation survey. Each learner will be required to pass the exam with at least 70% and will have 4 attempts to pass the exam.
