This module focuses on, rosacea, periorificial dermatitis, folliculitis, and disorders of eccrine and apocrine glands. This module is designed to help you identify, diagnose, and treat various adnexal skin disorders. It will explore the clinical features, differential diagnosis, and treatment options to enhance care for patients experiencing these dermatoses.

Section 1: Acne
- Explain the pathogenesis of acne.
- Describe the clinical features and variants of acne.
- Formulate a differential diagnosis of acne.
- Perform a thorough history and physical exam of a patient with acne.
- Recommend treatment for acne that is appropriate for variant/severity.
Section 2: Rosacea
- Explain the epidemiology and pathogenesis of rosacea.
- Identify common triggers of rosacea.
- Describe the clinical features and variants of rosacea.
- Formulate a differential diagnosis of rosacea.
- Perform a thorough history and physical exam of a patient with rosacea.
- Recommend treatment for rosacea that is appropriate for variant/severity.
- Recommend skin care techniques/patient education for patients with rosacea.
Section 3: Periorificial Dermatitis
- Describe the clinical features of periorificial dermatitis.
- Formulate a differential diagnosis of periorificial dermatitis.
- Perform a thorough history and physical exam of a patient with periorificial dermatitis.
- Recommend treatment for periorificial dermatitis.
Section 4: Folliculitis
- Differentiate subtypes of folliculitis, including superficial versus deep forms.
- Summarize the etiology and pathophysiology of folliculitis depending on type.
- Identify clinical manifestations of different forms of folliculitis.
- Recommend appropriate diagnostic methods and treatments for folliculitis depending on type.
Section 5: Eccrine/Apocrine Gland Disorders
- Summarize functions of eccrine and apocrine glands.
- Differentiate types of disorders of eccrine and apocrine glands, including etiologies and physical characteristics.
- Recommend proper treatments for disorders of eccrine and apocrine glands.
