This module is designed to explore a variety of vascular anomalies in depth. It starts with the presentation, complications, and treatments of infantile hemangiomas and other vascular anomalies. Then, it explores various aspects of ulceration — including the definition, common locations, and differences between key types of ulcers — and other related vascular disorders.

Section 1: Vascular Anomalies
- Identify the presentation, associated complications, and treatment of vascular anomalies, including:
- Infantile hemangiomas
- Congenital hemangiomas
- Kasabach-Merritt phenomenon
- Nevus simplex
- Port-wine stain
- Sturge-Weber syndrome
- Cutis marmorata telangiectatica congenita
- Venous malformations
- Arteriovenous malformations
- Lymphatic malformations
Section 2: Ulcerations and Other Vascular Disorders
- Define the term ulceration.
- Identify common locations for ulcer formation.
- Describe risk factors, signs/symptoms, treatments, and complications of the following ulcer types: arterial, venous, diabetic, decubitus.
- Identify the equation for determining ankle-brachial index.
- Describe common types of neuropathies in relation to ulcer-formation.
- Define the stages of decubitus ulcers.
- Define and describe the appearance, treatment, and complications of the following vascular disorders: lymphedema, livedo reticularis, flushing, telangiectasias, venous lakes, nevus anemicus, angiospastic macules, and angiokeratomas.
