This module is designed to explore the various presentations, diagnostic findings, and differential diagnosis of both Langerhans and non-Langerhans cell histiocytoses. Additionally, it will examine xanthomas and non-infectious granulomatous disorders, focusing on their clinical features, associated conditions, and management strategies.

After participating in this module, the learner will be able to:
Section 1: Histiocytoses
- Identify the pertinent physical exam, laboratory findings, and differential diagnosis for the variants of Langerhans cell histiocytosis.
- Identify the varied presentations of non-Langerhans cell histiocytoses and their associated findings.
Section 2: Xanthomas
- Identify the pertinent physical exam, laboratory findings, and differential diagnosis for the four types of xanthomas.
- Identify the five major types of hyperlipidemia and their associated type of xanthoma.
- Identify normolipemic xanthomas and their causes.
Section 3: Non-infectious Granulomatous Disorders
- Identify sarcoidosis and its variants and recommend appropriate treatment options.
- Identify granuloma annulare, necrobiosis lipoidica, and other non-infectious granulomatous disorders.
- Identify foreign body granulomas and their inorganic and organic causes.
