This joint webinar between the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) is designed to provide advanced practice providers with a practical, multidisciplinary introduction to vulvar dermatoses.  Vulvar conditions are common yet frequently under-recognized, leading to delayed diagnosis and suboptimal management. This session will equip participants with a structured, pattern-based approach to evaluating vulvar skin disease in everyday clinical practice. Through a collaborative lens — integrating gynecology, dermatology, and pathology — expert faculty will focus on high-yield clinical skills. Participants will learn to distinguish normal from abnormal vulvar anatomy, recognize the most common dermatoses by visual patterns, and initiate safe first-line treatments. Clear guidance will also be provided on when to biopsy, escalate care, or refer.

This webinar will be hosted on a third-party platform. Please click here to register.

Learning Outcomes:
By the end, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize normal vs abnormal vulvar anatomy
  • Identify 3–5 most common dermatoses by pattern
  • Start first-line treatment safely
  • Know when to biopsy or refer
