The SDPA Diplomate Fellowship™️ program is an all-encompassing, online, didactic training program for PAs working in the field of dermatology who are also SDPA Members. The full program offers 64.5 hours of AAPA accredited Category 1 CME training, spread out across 22 modules. Each of the 22 modules will contain sections (or presentations) providing detailed training on the topics related to that module.
The program was created in conjunction with a core textbook, Dermatology Essentials – 1st or 2nd Edition by Bolognia et. al. This textbook will be used and referenced throughout the program. This textbook is required and may be purchased from any retailer where it is available, in either physical book or ebook.
This package is a bundle of 22 modules in the Diplomate Fellowship Program.

‘Basic Principles of Dermatology’ is the 1st module in the Diplomate Fellowship. It covers topics such as but not limited to surgical equipment and tools typically used while practicing dermatology, how to take a patient history, how to perform and skin exams, medical photography, how to conduct pre-op evaluations, and fever with rash.

"Papulosquamous Eruptions And Eczematous Dermatosis" is the 6th module in the SDPA's Diplomate Fellowship. It covers topics such as but not limited to atopic dermatitis and other eczematous eruptions, irritant and allergic contact dermatitis, lichenoid dermatoses, other papulosquamous disorders, regional dermatoses, and psoriasis and PsA.

'Acne, Rosacea, and Other Adnexal Diseases' is the 7th module of the SDPA's Diplomate Fellowship. It covers topics such as but not limited to the iPLEDGE Program, acne, rosacea, periorificial dermatitis, folliculitis, and disorders of eccrine/apocrine glands

‘Infections and Infestations’ is the 8th module in the SDPA's Diplomate Fellowship. It covers topics such as but not limited to viral diseases, fungal and other infection diseases, sexually transmitted diseases, bacterial diseases, and infestations, bites, and stings.

‘Pruritus and Psychocutaneous Disorders’ is the 9th module in the SDPA's Diplomate Fellowship. It covers topics such as but not limited to the approach to the patient with pruritus, both common and uncommon presentations, development of a differential list, how to perform a diagnostic workup, how to classify and select the most appropriate treatments, and how to describe appropriate topics for patient education related to pruritus including setting appropriate expectations.
